Become a Member in this newly established nonprofit.  Show your support for this place and our approach to a Judaism that is warm, welcoming, inclusive, spiritual, and creative.

Becoming a Member of Der Nister is a commitment to build and strengthen each other. Your support sustains and keeps our work so that we can more actively be there for you. Financial considerations shouldn’t be seen as a barrier to becoming a member, but if you feel that they are for you, let us know. Everything you may have given for High Holidays 5787 can counts towards your membership. We will contact you to help you begin your membership intake once we have heard from you.

Membership means a monthly recurring donation for at least one year or a one time annual contribution and comes with:

  • Stimulating adult learning

  • Heart-thrilling cultural events

  • Uplifting Shabbat and holiday services

  • Conversion process support

  • Yahrzeit reminders and birth announcement

  • Lifecycle events--funerals and baby namings

  • Founding Members get priority tickets at cultural events
