Cabaret New Moon Elul

Cabaret New Moon revives the tradition of the Berlin cabarets that boldly disturbed the high culture of Imperial Germany; it is the theater show of the working class. We're bringing back this tradition to rile up the populace of Los Angeles with the chaos and wonder of Downtown, acts that break boundaries, and a sense of absurdity.

Set to the theme of the Jewish New Moon, these acts will dazzle with music and puppetry and Jewish mysticism. The community will be invited to contribute their own magic to this monthly extravaganza.

On Thursday, August 17th we celebrate the new moon of the month of Elul, which brings the theme of soul searching.

You'll experience:

Klezmer music

Puppets

&

Mysticism!

Performances by: Tirosh Schneider, Shiri and the Shiribims, Ben Gown, Leo Chelyapov, Noa Dori.
